Jennifer Moore
Jennifer Moore has practiced law in Asheville, North Carolina, since 1999. A native of Asheville and graduate of Asheville High School, she earned both her undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University before serving as law clerk to the Honorable John C. Martin of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
In 2007, Jennifer joined natural forces with her father, George Moore, to form The Moore Law Office. Since the beginning of her career, she has devoted her practice exclusively to family law. She is included in the Family Law Section of Best Lawyers in America.
Jennifer represents clients in divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, adoption, domestic violence matters, and other complex family law proceedings throughout Western North Carolina. She is particularly experienced in contested custody and complex property division cases, approaching each matter with careful preparation, thoughtful legal analysis, and a strong commitment to helping clients navigate difficult family transitions.
In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer has devoted considerable time to community service. She is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Irene Wortham Center, a former member of the Junior League of Asheville, and has volunteered with Pisgah Legal Services representing victims of domestic violence. She has also served in numerous leadership roles with the Children's Well-Being League since 2019.
Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys running, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She has completed a marathon at the Biltmore Estate along with numerous half marathons and adventure races and enjoys the trails of Henderson County and Western North Carolina.
