Consultations

Before accepting representation, we believe it is important for you to meet with the attorney who would handle your case. This consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your legal concerns, review the facts of your situation, and determine whether The Moore Law Office is the right fit for your needs.

Consultations in Family Law and Employment Law are generally scheduled for 30 minutes and require a $300 consultation fee. Additional time may be scheduled for particularly complex matters when necessary.

There is no consultation fee for Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, or Social Security Disability matters. Personal injury cases are typically handled on a contingency fee basis, meaning attorney fees are paid only if compensation is recovered. Attorney fees in Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability cases are subject to approval by the North Carolina Industrial Commission or the Social Security Administration.

If you choose to retain our firm, your fee agreement and the scope of representation will be discussed during your consultation.

Our office is located in Nettlewood Professional Park at 84 Peachtree Road, Suite 120, Asheville, North Carolina. We are conveniently located near downtown Asheville, approximately one block from the Buncombe County Courthouse and adjacent to First Baptist Church.
